Nicholas Spark’s have written some of the most beloved romance novels in recent memory, many of which has been adapted for the screen. If you too fell in love with Allie and Noah’s story in The Notebook, then this Charleston hotel wants to help you retrace their steps for a romantic getaway.
At the HarborView Inn, you can now book a special package that will include a chance to visit all of the places that Allie and Noah go on their most romantic dates. If you book The Notebook package, you’ll first be greeted by a bouquet of roses waiting for you in your room.
Not only that, before bed each night, you won’t find a simple mint after your beds have been turned down. Instead, the turn down service includes a sprinkle of rose petals, as well as a bottle of sparkling wine.
For your first dinner, head out to High Cotton, where you’ll dine in style. The restaurant was featured in the scene where Noah catches Allie eating with her fiancé. You can enjoy dishes with a regional flare, such as buttermilk fried oysters, in addition to a divine beet salad, and a mushroom ‘farrotto’.
Don’t fill up too much at dinner, though, because you’re going to want to make a stop at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, which was yet another location where the young lovers shared a date.
The next day, you and your honey can plan to take a carriage ride for two. After the ride, you’ll be escorted to the Boone Hall Plantation. You’ll also receive tickets to the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, which will give you a chance to see the interior of the house in addition to a chance to galavant around the Audobon Swamp Gardens. The last stop on your Notebook themed tour will be the American Theatre, where you can dance in the street just like Allie and Noah.
