Sick of heading to your local pub? Want to go somewhere new? Beer fans, it is a time to rejoice, because there is a private pub tucked away in a forest, and it is complete with a waterfall-powered beer pump! Brewing company Carlsberg is giving beer drinkers the chance to experience the ultimate getaway which combines cold brews with forest views.
The new Carlsberg Cabin pub in now available on Airbnb and is sure to whisk people away on their stay. Located in the Cornish countryside, the pub is the world’s first fully off-the-grid and carbon-neutral bar, powered solely by solar energy and a nearby waterfall. What sounds better than a cold beer and the chance to admire forest views all around you?
With a love for nature and traditional Cornish engine houses, the space took inspiration from its surroundings and this cabin pub was created. Built of stone and pumped water from tin mines, guests get to enjoy a truly remarkable experience, but an authentic one all at the same time.
Along with the pumped water, it is the pumped beer that is the real selling point, giving guests a chilled pint at any time they like. Aside from the beer pump located in the communal area, the cabin offers enough beds to sleep six, a kitchen, a desk area, and a series of hammocks to enjoy both the views and a pint or two.
Meanwhile, streams flow beneath the cabin and trees surround the place, so you are fully immersed in nature. In fact, the cabin is in a camping retreat called Kudhva, which allows you to enjoy 180-degree views of the nearby coastline, and a waterfall to take a dip in. All of this can be yours for $466 a night and, with availability until October, it is time to book your place!
