Plan Ahead
It’s a good idea to sit down with your friends and do some careful planning before you set off. Decide, as a group, where you want to go, what you want to see, and what your budget is going to be. This is super important to ensure you’re all on the same page. If someone suddenly decides they want thousands of dollars worth of luxury, this could clash with those who want to backpack and stay in hostels.
Spend Time Apart
Just because you’re traveling together, doesn’t mean you need to spend every minute of every day together. Make sure you schedule some time apart, whether that’s in separate hotel rooms every evening or a day of doing whatever you want to do by yourself. This will ensure you’re not driving each other up the wall by the end of the trip.

Communicate
If you find that your friends are ruining your trip, then make sure you talk to them. There’s no point in getting all angry and bottling it up, only for it to destroy your friendship when you get home. This doesn’t mean you need to shout it out, just pull them aside and try to set some boundaries. Refer back to that plan you made before you set off, too!
Traveling with friends can be fun, but it can also be tricky. Make sure you follow these top tips to ensure it doesn’t end up a disaster.
