If you’ve ever gone skiing, you’ve no doubt heard of the Vail resorts on all the best slopes.

If you haven’t ever gone skiing, they’re giving you the greatest reason ever to start.

From British Colombia to Switzerland, this mountain resort chain has gone where every powder-loving skier loves to go and set up a beautiful camp that snow-seekers can feel at home in no matter where they go. And for those who can’t simply choose just one skiing destination for the season, they have what you could only call a winter wonderland dream come true: an Epic Pass that allows you to go to every Vail resort and select partners around the world, and lasts the entire winter season.

“A number of years ago we made this decision to provide a historic discount for what it would cost for people to come to our resorts,” explained Robert Katz, CEO of Vail Resorts. “The catch though, was we wanted people to buy that product before December. We were really creating this trade where the company and our resorts got certainty and in return our guests got this great deal. It’s been an unbelievable success story for us. We now sell almost a million season passes.”

But they’ve also expanded their sales to some short-term pass options and even single-day passes, so that those who need a quicker fix can still join in on the fun.

With the Epic Pass:

You Can Ski Around the World

Whether you want to jump between Whistler and the Rockies or the Dolomites and the Alps, the Epic Pass covers your time on the slopes at any of their 69 resorts and cooperating partners – including places like Vail, Breckenridge, Japan’s Hakuba Valley and more.

You Save Significantly

While the shorter passes can range in price from place to place, with some specific locations being even more expensive for less days than the seasonal pass on the whole, the Epic Pass is one price fits all. No matter what, it’s more bang for your buck.

You Get Flexibility

With an Epic Pass, you can split your days between as many resorts as you want, and they don’t even have to be consecutive. Pick and choose to your heart’s content!

You Get Access to Other Discounts

Once you have a season pass, you also get into the Epic Pass Club, which offers discounts on things like hotels, food, bike rentals, and chair lifts.

You Have to Buy Early

To take advantage of the Epic Pass or the Epic Day Pass, you have to buy by late November or December. The season pass or days you purchase will then be valid for the 2019/2020 season.
